1. Strategy

When you're building a new identity, a well-thought-out brand strategy is your best ally. In the first phase of this brand template you’ll find;

  • An education step for clients on the process ahead

  • Workshop preparation to supercharge the first strategy meet-up

  • A strategy step where you’ll share your big thinking and ideas for the brand

This template is an out- of-the box kit for project managers or agency owners to launch a brand project, with minimal work and impress clients with your detailed approach.

2. Messaging

If your agency team offers messaging or narrative work as part of your brand process, we’ve included a messaging phase to guide this stage. It’s easy to add or delete steps and modify the standard content.

Inside the messaging phase you’ll share your work and thoughts on possible messaging territories to get early validation from your client. Once that’s approved, there’s two rounds of work to produce the messaging, helping you share progress but also assisting to manage the rounds of revisions so the budget stays on track!

3. Brand Design

From your strategy work, you’ll be in good shape to undertake the brand design phase, drawing direct lines from your insights, to the brand design. The first step in this phase is another educational step, giving the client a rundown on what’s involved in crafting the brand, what’s included and a flag for what's not in scope.

This process includes a step to propose your early visual ideas and concepts - things like colour, typefaces, the brand mark and the core idea behind each concept.

There’s another step that covers your work in refining the best idea into a polished brand concept and then one final step to address any feedback the client might have to tighten the work.

And because we love getting 100% confirmation from the client, you’ll finish on a high with an approval step to complete the phase.

4. Brand Guide

Oh yeah. It’s the home straight now and the final phase of this template - wrapping up all your good work into a nice neat brand book to guide the client (and agency) with future brand assets.

You’ll find a couple of steps to complete the brand book and deliver your files. And in the final step of the project, we’ll ask the client for some feedback on the work and the process. If all looks good, you’ll ask the client to give your studio a quick review or testimonial ...nice!
